6 tips to prevent and control hair loss
Seasonal hair loss is common. Fortunately, there are some easy ways to control it.
During certain times of the year (especially in winter), our hair can be more fragile and fall more. A phenomenon that does not happen without reason. On the one hand, humidity causes seborrhea (excessive sebum secretion) that can cause itching and flaking of the scalp.
On the other hand, the lack of sun. In winter, the days are shorter and therefore there is little natural light. Hair, which needs it for good health, eventually becomes weak and takes longer to grow.
How to avoid hair loss?
The first thing to do in case of excessive hair loss is to consult a dermatologist, to rule out any possible pathology (especially if there is also fragility in the nails). Once this quote is up to date, here are some easy tips to apply daily to keep your hair healthy and prevent hair loss:
1 - Wash your hair in moderation: hair needs its natural sebum and, by washing it daily, it can be further weakened. When washing, avoid too hot water, the number one enemy of hair!
2 - Sleep with dry hair: moisture contributes to the proliferation of mites and fungi, which weaken the hair.
3 - Use products in moderation: excessive use of hair products (such as hairspray) weakens the hair.
4 - Favors loose hairstyles: repeated hairstyles attached (ponytail, bun, etc.) break the hair.
5 - Use heat devices such as hair straighteners, hair dryers, in moderation: and always use a capillary thermal protector when this is the case!
6 - Massage your hair with oil: massage with oil (especially coconut) strengthens and nourishes the scalp effectively.
