In addition to fever, cough, and shortness of breath, experts have warned of six other symptoms that may be related to Covid-19 contamination.

The coronavirus is transmitted from an infected person to another person through the propulsion of droplets emitted by speaking, coughing, or sneezing. These droplets can also infect inert objects or surfaces around the sick individual. In the context of the health crisis, therefore, it is better to avoid close contacts, such as a kiss or a handshake, and to maintain a social distance of about one meter.

Covid-19: what are the symptoms of coronavirus?

The main signs of Covid-19 are high fever, cough, and shortness of breath. In addition to these early symptoms, others may start after infection. Six new symptoms associated with the SARS-CoV-2 virus were recently alerted:

Shaking chills

Repeated tremors with chills

Muscle pain

Headaches

Sore throat

Loss of smell and taste

Thanks to extensive research, other symptoms such as digestive upset, runny nose or conjunctivitis have been identified. Hives, frostbite, and redness may also be related to Covid-19 contamination. In children and teens, they also recommended going to the doctor quickly if the patient's condition worsens with:

Respiratory distress

Persistent chest pain or pressure

Confusions

A blue face or lips

Incubation time is estimated from 2 to 14 days. This is the time from infection to the onset of the first symptoms of the disease. During this period, the patient is already contagious and can transmit the virus around him. Some patients carry Covid-19, but do not develop any symptoms.
